The fast pony

One sunny hot day there was a pony that was running around like crazy on a hot and dried grassy paddock. This pony loved the sun but the problem is when the sun is really shining he can’t see a thing because the sun is in his eyes so he is running around as well as not seeing where the gates are.

(2 hours later).

The owner’s daughter came out to give the pony lunch but the pony could not see where she was, he could only hear her so the daughter thought if I catch the pony I can put my baseball cap and my sunglasses on him. She put his lunch down and got a rope and run after him. After about 25 minutes of chasing him, she finally caught him because the pony was getting too tired, she put the baseball hat on him and the glasses but then he shook them straight off and started running again!!

She thought to herself ‘oh no! I left the gate open’. She sprinted as fast as she could to the gate, when she was at the gate she thought of a way of putting the hat and glasses on him. She held out the bucket of bananas that she was giving the pony and she thought to herself ‘he loves food and he is really good at smelling things’, but he kept on running the opposite way, her arms were getting so tired so she started calling him. He finally came over, the girl put the bucket down and shut the gate and they both got what they wanted. The end.

This is a home learning task that we had to do it is about a pony we had to add a least three of theses words pony, lamp, banana, movie theater, baseball cap and pony. I used Pony, baseball cap and banana.
